Here is How To Jailbreak iOS 5 (Untether)
1. Download redsnow 09.10b1 For Windows | Mac
Note: Windows 7 users should run redsn0w in Windows XP compatibility mode and also remember to run redsn0w as Administrator
2. Run Redsnow and click on jailbreak (You dont have to point to your current firmware)
3. Put your iDevice in DFU mode
4. Wait for Redsnow to identify your current firmware and process Jailbreaking data
5. Now check Install Cydia and Click next
Note: Uncheck install cydia if you are already jailbroken with redsnow on ios 5 (it will automatically convert your tether jailbreak to untether)
Congrats! Your iDeivce is succesfully jailbroken untether on iOS 5.
